52 guests' feedbackNice, modern, well equipped cottage, walking distance to the business centre. There was a general water cut-off daily from 18h00 to 06h00, which we were not aware of beforehand. No buckets of water available to flush the toilet.

We had a lovely stay the weekend, everything was tidy and everything you need is there. It would help if there was solar for the load shedding, but otherwise everything was perfect.
Short walk to Clarens restaurants, galleries and shops. Clean, safe and comfortable. just what is needed for a getaway.

Great location just off the main square and a central point. It takes 3 - 5 minutes to walk around the dam and into the hills, or the same distance to walk into the town to the bakery, the shops and the cafe's and restaurants. Very easy drive into the Golden Gate reserve to get a feel for the mountains. The house was well equipped, had a Moroccan feel with its bright colours and mosaics, DSTV for rainy afternoons, plenty of space in the kitchen, lounge and dining room with very spacious bedrooms. There is also a stunning shady tree with an entertainment/braai area that we would have loved to have used one evening in dryer weather. The filtered water was also much appreciated. A really lovely 3 nights were spent with my UK family, a relaxed and lovely place to enjoy.
Unit very well equipped. Spacious, large room. Within walking distance of shops. All we lacked was a mirror near a power point to use the hairdryer provided.

It was a very nice place, we had a very nice stay. Everything was neat, clean and terribly luxurious.
We had an absolutely wonderful time. The place is well appointed for 2 people, and the fireplace was a blessing in the cold weather. Cooking facilities and such make things so much easier - we didn't need to pack anything. The manager was also very helpful. Will definitely visit the place again!

The interior decoration is outstanding and all amenities as well. It's just difficult to park a caravan safely behind the security fence.

This is a perfect place for a family to go out to for a peaceful rest at the end of the year.
Construction on the driveway and the constant presence of workers in the yard took away from our experience of our stay in Oak on Church. It was highly unpleasant to have to share the site with workers who used the garden, and to have to listen to the accompanying construction noises. The workers also did not hesitate to convey their frustrations to us every time we had to use the ramp to park inside the premises. Due to the construction, the main hatch was constantly open, which greatly contributed to a feeling of insecurity.
Golden View is very centrally located in town. It is a neat unit that is very well equipped. It is in a quiet environment and one can rest and relax in a beautiful unit. The stoep and braai facilities are ideal for relaxing evenings and the rest of the unit really lacks nothing to make it comfortable for guests.

We stayed in the Studio and the accommodation was pleasant. Everything was very neat and could even make a fireplace. Studio is near the town center and therefore walking distance. Had a problem with caravan site, but owners kindly arranged for our alternative site.

Unfortunately there was only one wine glass. The neighbors on the left made so much noise that we sometimes had to silence them. The studio feels a bit confined with the small garden and walls around. We would give anything to be able to sit under the beautiful Oak Tree. The studio is beautiful inside with very tasteful decor. Ideal for 2 people. Just look please. to the toilet. The suspicion is that it is leaking. We noticed water around on the tiles. We will come again but next time we will try the "Contain the view" container look first.
Sometimes when I'm away for business, it's only easier if there's a little body wash or soap in the bathroom. It spares me the effort of packing it in. Shaving kits and toothpaste is personal, but very good guest houses have it as standard.

Absolute value for money. Will go back again anytime. If you like watching TV, maybe not the right place for you as there is no TV in the unit. But the fireplace and breathtaking view of the mountains certainly make up for it.

Great weekend getaway with my husband and son. Got a bit lost on the way to the Square Roots apartment and the van was too big for the parking space, but the apartment itself is more than enough and the snappy chef plate was awesome! Will go again for sure!
